Make a Real Scene! 

A fictionalised memoir class. For those interested in storytelling, truth-telling, and the interesting bit in between. 

In Real Scenes, you’ll practice the basics of scene-craft including action, dialogue, and perspective. You’ll learn how to create interesting “problems” on the page. And you’ll play with capturing scenes of your own life. I’ll help you find the place on the fiction-memoir spectrum that makes sense for you. 

Includes: Five two-hour classes, with “homework” in between, feedback on your writing, and free slots in my Friday afternoon office hours.
